Navigation electronics for yachts
Radar, sounders, AIS, autopilots, NMEA networks and TimeZero software: I install, upgrade and troubleshoot bridge electronics on motor and sailing yachts, from Nice and across the Mediterranean.

A reliable, readable, documented bridge
On a yacht, navigation electronics pile up over the years: radar from one brand, a plotter from another, sensors added during a refit, NMEA gateways nobody remembers. My job is to bring coherence back to the whole system.
I handle new installations as well as bridge upgrades and recurring faults. Every job ends with a clean, tested and documented installation for the crew.
Based in Nice, I work across the French Riviera (Antibes, Cannes, Monaco, Saint-Tropez), Italy, Spain (Vilanova, Palma), Greece, St Martin and Fort Lauderdale.

Navigation electronics
Equipment installation and replacement
Radar, sounders, GPS and plotters, AIS, compasses, autopilots, wind instruments: selecting the right equipment, positioning, cabling, commissioning and sea trials.
NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 networks
Designing or reworking the backbone, power, terminators and protocol gateways. I diagnose address conflicts, data loss and nuisance alarms.
TimeZero and navigation PCs
TimeZero installation, sensor integration (heading, speed, depth, radar, AIS), multi-screen setup and charts.
Communications
VHF with DSC, SSB, antennas and coaxial cabling: installation, testing and repair.
Diagnostics and troubleshooting
Methodical fault-finding, software updates, compass, log and wind sensor calibration.
Diagrams and documentation
An up-to-date NMEA diagram and equipment inventory, so the crew knows exactly what is on board.
How I work
Talk
Tell me about the vessel, the installation and what you need, by phone, WhatsApp or email.
On-board survey
I look at the existing setup on site (or remotely) before proposing anything.
Clear proposal
A costed solution with equipment and timing, fitted to the vessel's schedule.
Work & follow-up
Clean work, testing, documentation for the crew, and I stay reachable afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Can a bridge be upgraded without replacing everything?
Yes. After an on-board survey, we keep what works and replace obsolete or unsupported units first. NMEA gateways let old and new equipment work together.
Do you work on sailing yachts?
Yes, on motor and sailing yachts alike, including sailing instruments, autopilots, displays and wind sensors.
How long does an installation take?
It mainly depends on cable runs and equipment positioning. After an on-board survey I give you a precise timeframe and work around the vessel's schedule.
Do you provide diagrams?
Yes. You receive an up-to-date NMEA diagram and equipment inventory, useful for the crew and future contractors.
