Internet and networks on board yachts
Starlink, 4G/5G, VSAT and marina Wi-Fi combined into one stable, secure network with Peplink multi-WAN routers: connectivity that follows the boat, from port to passage.
Peplink · Starlink · 4G/5G · VSAT
Connectivity that stays up
On board, internet is no longer a luxury: it carries weather routing, crew communications, system monitoring and guest comfort. A single source is never enough: every technology has its blind spots.
I design installations where several links work together and fail over automatically, with a clean, segmented onboard network that can be monitored remotely.
Based in Nice, I work across the French Riviera (Antibes, Cannes, Monaco, Saint-Tropez), Italy, Spain (Vilanova, Palma), Greece, St Martin and Fort Lauderdale.

Onboard internet & networks
Starlink on board
Antenna positioning, cable runs, power and integration into the onboard network, with priority rules alongside the other links.
Peplink multi-WAN routers
Bonding and automatic failover between Starlink, 4G/5G, VSAT and marina Wi-Fi. Priorities, data caps and SpeedFusion tunnels.
Onboard network and Wi-Fi
Switches, access points, full-vessel coverage, separate guest, crew and system networks (VLANs), firewall.
Remote monitoring and support
Remote tracking of links and devices, alerts and remote access to fix issues without waiting for the next port.
IT and security
Workstations, servers, backups, updates and cybersecurity practices suited to yachting.
Audit of existing systems
Survey of the current network, weak points identified and a costed improvement plan.
How I work
Talk
Tell me about the vessel, the installation and what you need, by phone, WhatsApp or email.
On-board survey
I look at the existing setup on site (or remotely) before proposing anything.
Clear proposal
A costed solution with equipment and timing, fitted to the vessel's schedule.
Work & follow-up
Clean work, testing, documentation for the crew, and I stay reachable afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Is Starlink enough on board?
It is an excellent link, but it has limits (obstructions, coverage, congestion). Combined with 4G/5G and marina Wi-Fi in a multi-WAN router, connectivity becomes far more reliable.
Can guest and crew networks be separated?
Yes. The network is segmented (VLANs): guests, crew and onboard systems each get their own network and priorities.
Can you work remotely?
Yes, remote monitoring and access solve a large share of connectivity issues wherever the vessel is.
Do you work on existing installations?
Yes. I start with an audit of the current network, then propose targeted improvements rather than a full replacement.
